Johnny Black (audience) : Hell of a way to start the year. The Ramones were superb, super-fast rock. Fun to see. Can't remember when last I smiled so much at a rock gig. A lot of Joey's "Wun-chew-free-foah…" introductions were swallowed up before they were finished as the band lurched into the next number with undue haste and enthusiasm. The two support bands, Generation X and The Rezillos were uniformly feeble.
