There is a violent clash in the streets of Paris, France, Europe, between revolutionary students and police. The song Street Fighting Man by The Rolling Stones will be inspired by this event, and also partly by The Stones' front man, Mick Jagger, taking part in a March 1968 anti-war protest rally at London's U.S. Embassy, during which mounted police attempted to control a crowd of 25,000 people.
