David Bowie : The first time that really I got totally interested in going clubbing was a Bromley club where I grew up called the Bromel Club and it had links with London in as much that after bands had worked in London or American artists had been over and worked the London clubs they'd come out to the suburbs and did places like Bromley and the Bromel Club was the place for us in Kent. And I remember seeing people like Graham Bond and Alexis Korner and I think it was seeing those guys working at that club that led me to want to go up town and see them again, and the place to go and see them in those days was The Marquee.
