Popular singer and recording pioneer S. H. Dudley dies aged 83 in Los Angeles, California, USA. As well as being a popular solo performer of coon songs and minstrel songs, he also recorded duets with Harry Macdonough and was a member of the Edison Male Quartet, which later became The Haydn Quartet.
