Delroy Washington (musical associate of Jimmy Cliff) : After he hit with Wonderful World he went back into another dark patch. He was in Chicago, and a brother came up to him one night and said they had this Black Power meeting going on. So he went and he said that the vbes the people were giving off really held him, 'cause he'd never seen black people looking so sure and genuine about what they were doing.
