The New York Times reports that African-American song and dance duo Williams and Walker’s performance of Sons of Ham at the Bijou Theatre in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, USA, has been shut down due to a smallpox breakout among its performers. Subsequent shows in Canton, Ohio, and other venues will be cancelled until the breakout subsides.
