Johnny Mote, owner of the land on which Lynyrd Skynyrd's plane crashed 25 years earlier, stages a tribute concert featuring country star Travis Tritt and former Skynyrd drummer Artimus Pyle near Gillsburg, Mississippi, USA. Conflict arises when Tritt refuses to allow Pyle onto the stage, claiming that the drummer is not professional enough to play with him.
