The Battle Of The Little Bighorn, also known as Custer's Last Stand, begins near the Little Bighorn River in eastern Montana Territory, near what eventually became Crow Agency, Montana, USA. By the end of the following day, combined forces of Lakota, Northern Cheyenne and Arapaho people will have defeated the 7th Cavalry Regiment of the United States Army and killed their commander, General George Custer. A humourous 1960 re-telling of the conflict, Mr Custer by Larry Verne, presents the battle from the perspective of an unwilling cavalryman, who has had a grim premonition of the battle in a dream. It will reach No1 in the USA.
