Famed vintage guitar collector and roadie Dan Martin dies aged 57, at his home on Turtle Rock Court, St. Charles, Missouri, USA. He had long suffered from congestive heart failure, high blood pressure and diabetes. Eddie Van Halen is said to have bought 117 of Martin's guitars over the years, and other customers included Bob Dylan, Keith Richards, Bruce Springsteen, Sting, Joe Perry, Joan Jett, Tom Petty and Jackson Browne.
