Melissa Drexler, aka 'The Prom Mom' pleads guilty to aggravated manslaughter, and is sentenced to fifteen years of imprisonment. Drexler had gained infamy a year earlier for delivering a baby in a restroom stall at her high school prom in Forked River, New Jersey, USA, then dumping the body in a trash can before returning to the dance. In 2003 Nickelback will record the song Throw Yourself Away, based on the Drexler case.
