The soundtrack album to the movie The Bodyguard is released in the USA. It features six songs by Whitney Houston, plus several by other artists including Kenny G, Lisa Stransfield and Joe Cocker. Most significantly, it includes Houston's cover of the Dolly Parton song I Will Always Love You - an international No1 hit. It will become the first album to sell more than a million copies in a single week, and will go on to score over 42m copies worldwide.
