On the Never Say Die! tour, Black Sabbath play at Hemmerleinhalle, Neunkirchen Am Brand, Germany, Europe, supported by Van Halen. The audience, consisting of "thousands of extremely stoned, drunk and rowdy GIs" riots and wrecks the hall when, three songs into a show, Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi leaves the stage because of technical problems.
