After having spent ten years in a mental hospital until he was considered fit to stand trial, mass murderer Ed Gein is found guilty but criminally insane and sent to Central State Hospital in Waupun, Wisconsin, USA. Gein's gruesome case will inspire films (Psycho and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre), several books and even songs including Dead Skin Mask by Slayer, Skinned by Blind Melon and Nipple Belt by Tad.
