Having taken its name from The Ramones? song Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue, it features The Ramones, The Flamin' Groovies, The Stranglers, Blue Oyster Cult, The Runaways, Television, Eddie and the Hot Rods, The 101ers and Todd Rundgren.
The Sex Pistols begin recording demos with the live sound-man Dave Goodman in their 6 Denmark Street, London, UK, rehearsal room. On the same day, their gig at the Rock Garden, London, is cancelled at short notice by club management.
