Drummer Kenny Buttrey dies in Nashville, Tennessee, USA. A member of the groups Area Code 615 and Barefoot Jerry, he was also an in-demand session player for Elvis Presley, Simon And Garfunkel, Neil Young, The Pointer Sisters and Kris Kristofferson. He also played on the Bob Dylan albums Blonde on Blonde, John Wesley Harding and Nashville Skyline.
