Christopher George Latore Wallace, best known as rapper The Notorious
B.I.G. or Biggie Smalls, is shot dead in a drive-by killing in Los Angeles, California, USA. His death will inspire Puff Daddy to write the song I'll Be Missing You, which draws much of its musical inspiration from Every Breath You Take by The Police.
