Animated character Yogi Bear makes his first appearance on tv in Yogi Bear's Big Break, a segment within the cartoon series The Huckleberry Hound Show. Yogi will go on to become more popular than Huckleberry, and will inspire the 1960 hit single Yogi by The Ivy Three, which will peak at No8 in the Billboard Singles Chart in the USA.
