During their English Electric tour, Malcolm Holmes, drummer of Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, collapses backstage in Danforth Music Hall, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, as the result of a heart attack caused by heat and his strenuous performance. He is rushed to Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto for treatment. All remaining dates on the tour are cancelled.
