Izzy Young (owner, Folklore Center, New York) : I was the one behind the 12 hour show. The folk historian Alan Lomax said that I was not yet mature enough to present the whole show on the radio so he got another mc beside me, Bob Yellin, to do it. I had Moe Asch, Folkways and Margot Mayo, American square dance group talking at the beginning along with other experts and Jack Elliott and Bob Dylan and everyone else who was around.

Mike Porco : He started to go out with Suze Rotolo, and she used to come in with him or I would go to their apartment for dinner, or some nights Suze would come in and make the circulars for the clubs. She used to draw for me. She was pretty good. So we became a little more friendly. He came in every week to play for a couple of months.
