Chuck Girard (vocalist, The Knights) : We did several different versions of Hot Rod High for different album projects, but to me The Knights' version is the best. In fact, the entire Knights album is sonically one of the better albums that we made. Like many of our sessions, Hot Rod High was cut at Capitol Studios, which had and still has one of the best live echo chambers around.
