Deacon Blue release a new single, Real Gone Kid, in the UK. The song is inspired by Maria McKee, singer of Lone Justice, who Deacon Blue's Ricky Ross had seen in concert. Two years earlier, McKee had also (allegedly) inspired the song You Little Thief, written by keyboardist Benmont Tench of Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers, which was UK Top5 hit for Feargal Sharkey.
