Short story:
Anarchist plotters Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti are executed for having murdered two men during a 1920 armed robbery in South Braintree, Massachusetts, USA. There has been debate ever since about whether or not they were really guilty, and the Woody Guthrie song Two Good Men presents them as working class heroes who were killed because of their political beliefs. The Joan Baez song The Ballad Of Sacco And Vanzetti also explores their story.
