The Beatles record an appearance on Swedish tv show Drop In, then play as second on the bill to Joey Dee And The Starliters at Kungliga Tennishallen, Stockholm, Sweden, Europe. The show also features 'Europe's King Of The Twist', Jerry Williams, plus The Violents and Suzie.

Joey Dee : They (The Beatles) were great guys. We worked with them in Stockholm, Sweden, but I never knew that they were going to be such a success at the magnitude that they became. When I heard them, they were just playing re-runs of American songs by The Everly Brothers, Little Richard and The Isley Brothers. They asked me what I thought of their possibility of making it in the States. I told them that we already had Little Richard and The Everly Brothers there, so their chances were probably nil to none.
