When David Bowie, Junior's Eyes and Timebox play at The Marquee Club, Soho, London, England, UK, Europe, a mere 129 fans show up. Junior's Eyes guitarist Tim Renwick plays his final gig with the band tonight. Also at this gig, John Cambridge of Junior's Eyes introduces David Bowie to his former bandmate Mick Ronson, and within days Cambridge, Ronson and producer Tony Visconti (playing bass) will become Bowie's new backing band, The Hype.

Tim Renwick : It was a very hard decision to make but, while I enjoyed working with David, there were certain things I couldn't relate to. I never doubted he would make it, though, I knew it was just a matter of time before he found his feet.
