Colin Woodland (Newcastle musician) : The GoGo was split into two. There was the Junior Lounge and then if you were good enough, you got into the late-night suite, the GoGo Jazz Lounge. That was much smaller, but that's where The Animals and Graham Bond used to play. If you were anybody, you played there.
