Rita Coolidge (backing vocalist, Delaney And Bonnie) : He (George Harrison) was just the sweetest guy in the world. He was a very soft-spoken, gentle man and, of course, his playing was over the moon. Everybody loved having George around because he had that deep spiritual quality. And it didn't hurt having him on the bus every day and sing, 'Lovely Rita, meter maid'. I would always make sure I was on the bus before him so that he would have to sing that when he got on.
