Barry Mason (co-writer) : Les Reed and I always used to meet at Les's house in Woking, Surrey. We were originally introduced by a publisher named Stuart Reid, who thought we would work well together. I'd already had a couple of hits while les was an arranger. Stuart put us together and we had a hit pretty quickly with The Fortunes' Here It Comes Again, and thought "We've cracked it! We're gonna make a million pounds!". Of course, we then wrote around a song a week for the following year, without having any hits whatsoever, which was really frustrating.
