Tom McGuinness (bassist, Manfred Mann] : Given the seemingly unlimited time available for present-day recordings, it is hard to credit how regimented our sessions were. 10am to 1pm, 2 to 5 and 6 to 9 were the session times. No running over three hours – the staff had to get their tea. And in one session we would get three or four songs completed.
