Billy Fury Way, a footpath named in honour of the pop idol Billy Fury, is officially opened, running from West End Lane to Lithos Road in Hampstead, London, England, UK, Europe. Fury frequently rehearsed in Decca Studios, Broadhurst Gardens, adjacent to the footpath. Some 40 or so Billy Fury fans attend the opening, including Holly Johnson of 80s band Frankie Goes To Hollywood.
