David Bowie : I thought It would be really interesting if each of us adopted a persona of some kind. I remember Cambridge was a cowboy, and Tony Visconti wore a Superman outfit. I can't remember what I wore, but it was very spacey, and there was a lot of Lurex-y material in it. Bolan was there, and he was open-mouthed that we had the balls to camp it up so much. I think that was the first glam-rock performance. I was all jeans and long hair at that time, and we got booed all the way through the show. People hated it. They absolutely loathed what we were doing. It was great!
