Fred D'Albert Fraser (guitarist, Sweet Water Canal) : Sweet Water Canal were signed to Ronnie Scott's Management in 1969, (Ronnie Scott's Jazz club).Line up was: Aliki Ashman ,vocals. Alan Cartwright, Bass gtr. Roy (wilf) Davies, Hammond organ, Tony Brown aka Tony Knight (Chessman, Skin Alley) Drums. Fred D'Albert ,Guitar.( Marty Wilde, Joe Brown, The Drifters) . Saxes were Phil Kenzie, Dave Coxhill, Geoff Driscoll. Trumpet was Pat Higgs, also American jazz star on tuba, valve trombone was Ray Draper. A lot of the band were formally The Freddy Mack band.
