Fact #176474
When:
Short story:
When Los Angeles police officers ask rapper Ol' Dirty Bastard (of Wu Tang Clan fame) to move his car, they notice that he is wearing a bullet-proof vest. This is in contravention of a law stating that no-one with a history of violent crime is allowed to wear a bullet-proof vest. In court, Bastard, represented by a deputy public defender as he can no longer afford his own attorney, pleads not guilty.
