Claudio Trotta (promoter, Barley Arts) : Kiss played that show was without make-up. Iron Maiden was headlining and Kiss was second on the bill. It was a very successful show, nearly 40,000 people. I have to admit that I felt Kiss's show lost something because they did not have the make-up or the costumes. Something was missing. The strength of a Kiss show is a combination of different factors - the riffs, the songs, the focal points of Paul and Gene, the production values, but also the make-up and costumes.
