Tony Orlando : Most of the people who were having hit records then were in their teens. It was just amazing to me.Most of the people who were making hit records and travelling around the world were no older than sixteen, seventeen years old. The Paul Ankas and Frankie Avalons … all basically kids. I look at my own kids now and I say, 'God, I was working in England on the road and living out of a bus.' It was a great education. The Ph.D. you get from being on the road is one of a kind. I think it worked in my favour.
