Paul McCartney : When I wrote Hey Jude, I had the line, 'The Movement you need is on your shoulder,' which doesn't make literal sense. I said 'I'll change that,' and John said, 'You won't, you know. That's my favourite line.' Because it works in its own way. If anyone else had said that to me, I might not have listened. At times like that, we could insist that one of us trust the strong feelings, the judgement, of the other. We trusted each other enough.
