Ringo Starr : One day their drummer, Pete Best, went sick. A car came for me and the driver asked if I would play the drums for The Beatles at a lunch-time session down The Cavern. What a laugh it turned out to be. We knew the same numbers, but did them differently and I didn't fit in at all well on that first session.
