Full article:

Richard Kostelanetz (photographer) : The Electric Flag was rather undistinguished, with too many horns, an unimaginative guitarist, and a lead singer who simply wasn't any good. Jimi Hendrix appeared on stage after the regular concert, not to sing but solely to accompany (Buddy) Miles (of Electric Flag]. Hendrix's guitar playing is so full of wrong notes that I suspect he is less than musical, or that the amplitude of his sound, abetted by four speakers, has made his ear stone deaf. Miles, however, is simply fantastic and, in cahoots with Hendrix, could well emerge as one of the sparkling talents of the new bluesy rock.
