Robert Smith (The Cure) : This was during the Head On The Door tour, and it was memorable because it was the first time that line-up of the band had played a really big show, about 50,000 people in the Olympic Stadium, and the power went down as we hit our second song. Boris continued drumming, we were doing A Night Like This and the whole crowd started singing and carried on through the whole song just with Boris drumming. I was overwhelmed. I just stood there. That was a big moment for us, it felt like we’d moved into a different area. It was a really powerful feeling.
