In Lisbon, Portugal, Europe, Netta Barzilai wins the Eurovision Song Contest with her rendition of the song Toy, inspired by the #MeToo movement. During the performance of the song Storm by British entrant SuRie, the stage is invaded by rapper and political activist Dr A.C. Activism who snatches her microphone and shouts "For the Nazis of the UK media, we demand freedom." before being bundled off stage by security.
