Full article:

What we have here is a brace of excellent Canadian country-rock singer-songwriters, but don’t expect too many of the yee-haw pardner cliches that litter most of the albums in this genre, because the two Lynnes, Miles and Hanson, are writers more in the vein of Fleetwood Mac’s Christine McVie than any of Nashville’s Trishas, Faiths or LeAnns. The pair’s close harmony vocals are warm and soothing, but their lyrics are pin-sharp and perceptive. Their band’s tight rhythm section frequently matches the McVie-like songs with Mac-style grooves, and guitarist Kevin Breit is a delight throughout, a virtuoso during solos but deliciously understated as an accompanist.
