Jay Ferguson (guitar/vocals, Spirit) : Randy California would often come in with a tremendous idea, but it would be all over the map, and I would help structure it. I Got A Line On You was a perfect example. That was a tremendous song idea, but so unorganised. It was four or five minutes long, it rambled, it had too many sections, but I knew it was great as soon as I heard it, so I set about structuring it, and creating the answer chorus, and that's how the thing was born.
