Nile Rodgers (producer) : Madonna came over to my apartment and played some songs for me. She said, ‘Nile, if you don’t like this stuff, we can’t work together.’ I said, ‘Here’s the good thing. I don’t like it now but, by the time I’m finished with it, I’m gonna love it.’
