Ron Blackmore (tour manager) : We may have started off with eight to ten cabinets, each containing two fifteen inch speakers but, by about the fifth show, probably only about 50% of them were working. There was no speakers that we could replace, and The Who weren't aware of that. They didn't know the damn things were stopping. I remember, at the end of the tour … the Marshalls were fine but, for the Sunns, we needed a dozen fifteen inch JBL speakers from the Sunn factory in Oregon, to re-cone them.
