Full article:

Cilla Black : Brian Epstein was having problems by then (early 1967), getting depressed. The Beatles were thinking of splitting up and I didn't want to be part of a stable any more. I had lunch with Brian on his roof terrace and I told him, but he was mortified. I felt terribly disloyal, and he was such a charmer that I decided to stay.

He promised to buck up his ideas, which he did for a while. He started to do things he had never done before. I sill used to go home to Liverpool at every opportunity, and he would always be waiing at Euston when the train pulled in. In fact, he took meto the airport before I went on holiday to Portugal, and told me he had done a great deal with the BBC for the Cilla show. That was the last time I saw him.
