Barry Gibb (Bee Gees) : The memories I have of Australia were that they were very unfair to us right to the end. Even when we were on the boat, we'd keep getting reports from friends about the record we released before we left which was Spicks And Specks. The record became a hit there while we were on the boat to England, and the local papers had stories like: 'Bee Gees Abandon Australia.' I thought that was unfair.
