Fact #141305

When:

Short story:

Ziggy Marley releases a new album entitled Ziggy Marley on Tuff G ong Records worldwide.

Full article:

After thirty years of a recording career, Ziggy Marley has his sound locked down solid, so this is a terrific album to groove to on a hot summer day. He also has a great voice which is, unsurprisingly, reminiscent of his dad, and has surrounded himself with first class musicians who make every track sound as easy a falling off a spliff. Unfortunately, good as the music is, his lyrics are so cliche-ridden that it’s best to listen to this album without paying too much attention to what he’s using his lovely voice to sing. The rhyme scheme of track one begins by rhyming 'revolution - evolution - contribution' and things don’t get much better on subsequent cuts.
