Dean Torrence (Jan And Dean] : For a time I insisted on using the mono versions on our re-issues. I didn't have a problem with stereo itself. Obviously it was just our stereo. The recorded compny insisted there were stereo buyers out there and if you put out a mono-only album, you'd be cutting yourself out of a lot of sales.
