Leon Ramakers (promoter, Mojo Concerts) : Our company goes way back with AC/DC. The first show I did with them drew exactly 800 people to Jaap Edenhall in Amsterdam.
The next show was the following day in De Vereeniging, Nijmegen, where we drew exactly 1000. Their manager at the time, Peter Mensch, couldn’t believe that we had such round figures, so I said, "If you like I’ll buy another ticket so we can have 1001, but it is what it is."
