Gene Pitney : I Must Be Seeing Things was a Kooper/Levine song, which came to me through (Aaron) Schroeder's publishing company. He had a lot of very good staff writers and they always came up with strong material. I don't know that it was a 'great' song. You had to put the harmony on, and convert it to a big production-type of ballad. It was OK, but it wasn't ever going to be another I'm Gonna Be Strong.
