Tom Hingley (vocalist, Inspiral Carpets) : James were recording their album Gold Mother, when we were recording our debut album Life, and I remember Tim Booth claimed at the time that we had borrowed bits of verse melody from their song Black Hole in This Is How It Feels. I think that’s bollocks, I remember Flood, the producer, remixing it and thinking how great he was at mixing, and how great, and unlike James, it was.
